This conviction was immediately tested when Ian began his real estate career in 2008, as the housing market collapsed in the great recession. When many agents were struggling and leaving the business, Ian found his niche. He saw a need to help rescue families with hardships from foreclosure, allowing them to wipe their hands clean of mounting debt, and make a fresh start through successfully negotiating a short sale.
